~Well..if your working on the site...then its not an issue, if your not..then nothing is working correctly. Same problems..different day.

~Icon packager..now that functions..now: Icon Developer doesn't. Spent 30 minutes painfully recoloring a set of icons..then hit ok..progress bar downloads changes..states " 96 items recolored " go to IP..open it..see name of newly created icons......but no picture of them..click on it anyway, apply , get default windows yellow folders.( retry 7 times-same result) Uh huh.....

Go to Stardock Central..click off pop up message " you have 23 more days on Object Desktop Subscription, would you like to renew now ?" No...I don't think so.....

Rechecked Icon developer..no update since 10-24-2004
"Right Click" proggie-no update since February 10th 2005

So...I guess I'll just hang around waiting for the next fix...

Have a nice day...

Well...I thought about trying to fix this problem or offering myself some advice ....but, I've decided that icons are no longer necessary. So coloring them is no longer a problem.

There you go.

~Sorry SD..it was your icons I spent so long trying to re-color a light gold. I like to mix silver and gold and now i cant. So I deleted 50% of my icons. BUT...im still using yours.

Seems you're lucky IP is working again for you...plenty of others are not so lucky. And what's a measly 30 minutes recoloring icons and having it not work? At least it didn't trash something on your system...yet.

This is found in the update "view History"

[7/12/05 refresh] We've pulled the iprepair.dll from new distributions. There's
occasional problems being reported with it still. If you really want to attempt
to replace the folder icons in applications that are picking up the system-icons
in non-standard ways, email kwilas@stardock.com and I'll send you a copy of
the dll.

If you wish to disable an existing copy of it, Start / Run /
regsvr32.exe /u "c:\program files\stardock\object desktop\iconpackager\iprepair.dll"

3.00a release

Wha? If they were correct, why fix 'em? Maybe that's what broke it.
